Summery: Home improvement startup Arrivae has secured Rs 21 crore in funding, led by CaratLane founder Mithun Sacheti. The funding will be utilized to expand its presence in key markets like Mumbai and Bengaluru and enhance its supply chain infrastructure. With a comprehensive catalogue and a stellar team of investors, Arrivae is poised for continued growth and innovation in the home improvement sector.

Arrivae, a burgeoning name in the home improvement sector, has secured a significant boost with a recent infusion of Rs 21 crore in equity funding. Spearheaded by none other than Mithun Sacheti, the visionary behind CaratLane, this funding round underscores Arrivae’s potential for growth and innovation in the market.

Founded in 2018 by Yash Kela, Arrivae has swiftly made a mark in the industry, offering comprehensive design-to-manufacturing services for home interiors and improvements. Raghav Bubna, the business head of Arrivae, expressed the company’s strategic vision, stating, “We aim to deepen our footprint in key markets like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Bengaluru.”

Arrivae distinguishes itself with an extensive catalogue boasting over a million elements, catering to projects of various scales and budgets. From modest kitchen renovations to high-value interior overhauls, the company provides holistic solutions tailored to homeowners’ needs. Bubna notes that these projects typically represent 8-10% of the house’s value, ensuring that clients receive value-driven services.

The inclusion of Mithun Sacheti on Arrivae’s board of directors marks a significant development. Alongside industry stalwarts like Yash Kela and prominent investor Madhusudhan Kela of MK Ventures, Sacheti’s expertise will undoubtedly enrich Arrivae’s strategic direction.

This funding round adds another feather to Arrivae’s cap, following its successful raise of Rs 75 crore in February 2022. Notable investors such as Think Investments and Havells Group have previously backed the company, alongside luminaries like Rekha Jhunjhunwala, Harsh Jain of Dream11, and Ramesh Damani of DMart.

The synergy between Mithun Sacheti and Yash Kela extends beyond Arrivae’s boardroom. Both are instrumental figures in the investment landscape, collaborating at Singularity Growth, where Sacheti serves as a general partner and Kela as the founder and chief investment officer. Sacheti’s involvement further extends to being a significant limited partner in Flipkart founder Binny Bansal’s early-stage venture fund, 021 Capital.

With this latest funding injection and a stellar team of investors and industry veterans backing its journey, Arrivae is poised for continued success and innovation in the competitive home improvement market.
